Great video. I have been using downriggers on the south shore of lake Superior for 4 years now. They are extremely common pretty much standard gear on the great lakes. Some good tips in this video, especially the snubber to the ball. I never thought about leaving the clicker on the reel for a little more tension, also a good tip. Beautiful standing seam roof on your house (thats what I do for a living).

Why would I want to release the fish? .... If I catch the fish I'm going to eat it. I DON'T CARE IF IT SNAGS THE FISH OR NOT as long as I eat. The only advantage ! .... Is that you may not get snagged as much?

Great review. I watched it twice and then bought one. Really appreciate all the hard work in producing this video. Some people have no idea how much work goes into a production like this with multiple cameras.

I dont see you recomending a cheap rod reel for beginners but of showing bad dirt cheap stuff on the other hand those that want a decent working rod be prepared to pay a hell of a lot more for it of which discourages me.

I need to make one for what I’ve done to my vote and people that I know about if you guys seen what I’ve done you would flip out I can load a boat in about three minutes without getting my feet wet And And I don’t care how steep the launches

Great video. Been using spinning reel with mono to flouro as you described. Would like to try a baitcaster with line counter but they all llook the same. What should I be looking for. Appreciate your suggestions.
